Zoo Med Paludarium - 12" x 12" x 24" - 4 gal, Black

I was skeptical ordering a cage made of glass over the internet, but having been around a long time, I assumed Zoo Med had things figured out. They shipped a 12"x12"x24" cage in a 21.5"×26"×16" box with one wrap of the thinnest bubble tape. Nowhere on the box does it say fragile or glass. Just the word heavy. You can see the first one came completely smashed. What is worse, the second one I got has a big chip out of the inside of the door, meaning they are shipping defective product too. This may just be fulfilled by Amazon directly and have nothing to do with Zoo Med. I can't put animals in either of these cages. We will see how Zoo Med and Amazon handle this, but as of right now Amazon is telling us they won't replace it, only refund. Must be because I got a good price and they are back up to full price now. I knew I should have shopped local over Amazon.

Got this Paludatium all broken first time, Amazon replaced it, broken again, third time was a good paludarium.

This item arrived and the entire side was shattered. There were 4 air pocket protectors laying on top of it when I opened the box, and nothing else to protect it. No label saying "FRAGILE" on the outside of the box or anything. It was returned and a full refund was luckily issued. Don't waste your time buying this. I got one a little bit smaller for cheaper at a local store, and it came with a light and humidity detector.

Item arrived completely smashed from seller, not a single piece of glass remained, only glass shards. We read the reviews of others that experienced this problem but took a chance and were unsuccessful. Chose the Amazon 'replace' option and the replacement item went to the wrong address. The item is quality and very nice IF you can get one intact.

Title says it all. First one came with broken glass, the second one with a broken handle (pictured). The terrarium itself was nice, just but it from a different vendor.

The entire front of this was shattered when delivered 😪

Upon receiving the item the whole side glass was broken.

I am sure the product is wonderful, the Amazon packaging is horrible. Not secure and arrived destroyed.
