The A30 is a durable quadcopter with three speed modes, making it a great indoor or outdoor (low wind) flying. I am impressed by how stable it hovers and flies. It is responsive and easy to control. The bright headlight makes maintaining orientation easy. Low battery alarm gives just enough time to fly back and land. The out of range alarm warns when the control signal becomes weak, alerting you to either fly back toward you or quickly land before going out of range. The A30 does not come with a camera. However my experience has been, I only use a camera indoors if I'm flying FPV.I highly recommend the Potensic A30 for younger pilots or anyone learning to fly indoors. It is also a great choice for learning to fly line of sight around trees and through tree limbs. If you are learning, you will crash. The A30 and A30W can withstand the impact better than any drones I have flown.

Just got this drone today. The Potensic A30 is a great indoor beginner drone that can also handle flying outside with some wind. Altitude Hold works well on this drone and it is a very stable flyer. It’s one of the more durable drones I have flown. This is my first drone and it hardly took 15 minutes to learn control this drone. This is tough, and have guards around the propellers so that when you inevitably run into walls nothing really gets damaged. They also shut off fairly quickly which I would love to fly this for a longer time out of joy that I get playing with this. overall I am happy with my first drone.

Fun drone and easy to use. Charge the battery and you are ready to go. Let the kid use it as well and it survived with only a couple minor scuffs!

My nearly 8 year old son has a little experience flying other RC flyers such as small helicopters, so flying this mini drone was super simple. The take off/landing button definitely makes it easy for beginners by bringing the drone to a lower, manageable height. At this point the user can get the hang of using the directional joysticks. I especially love the option to enable headless mode, which switches the orientation of the directional joysticks. The drone now moves left when directing it left instead of switched orientation which is usually standard in flying. There is also another button to allow different levels of difficulty for more advanced flyers such as low, medium, and high. The higher the level the more the drone can be flown in breezier conditions. The battery lasts long enough to really enjoy the flying session, as well as charges quickly. Definitely able to fly indoors without damaging the blades or other valuables in the house thanks to it's sturdy, yet safe, design.

Just got this drone today. I am new to drones and had bought a A30W with a camera. Since the A30 was the same drone without a camera, and was a few dollars more than a battery, I bought the drone. This drone is a bit faster and the smaller controller is easier to handle. It is also a good training tool for when I get the camera drone set up outside. Battery lasts about 5 minutes, which I knew going in, but better battery life would be great as they develop. I bought four of these drones to use with a summer camp program. I learned to fly drones on an older model without any bells and whistles like automatic take off and landing, gyroscopes to maintain height, etc. This one has them and it is SUPER easy to fly! The blade guards make it suitable for indoor use which you will probably want to take advantage of since it is so light even a small breeze from a fan can give it difficulty in flying. It has a "headless" mode to make it easier to teach kids to use - it's more intuitive that way. My 18 year-old saw me practicing with one to familiarize myself with it and asked if he could fly it; and he had no interest in drones because they were too hard to fly!!! He used it until the battery died. Battery will give you about 4-5 minutes of flying time so better order extras!

Got the drone today. Out of the box, you got a typical gear and charger for the drone. The drone is light but flexible, need to check for durability and update.There is one thing I want to point out that the controller is very small. I have a medium size hand and want to play with my sone as well. Seem like my son would be the only one enjoy much of this toy.

Great product for the price! Safe and easy to use. I bought it for my nine year old nephew who gives it rave reviews and my guy enjoyed using it so much while testing how easy it would be to use and playing with my nephew that we bought him his own. I will say that both drones seem to have lost their novelty.
