So worth it!
Personally haven’t used it but my girlfriend has. She fell in a parking lot and really had gash on her head. Being on blood thinners is a real concern but by the time she got to the ER the bleeding had stopped and the gash was closing! Great for people on blood thinners but is great regardless. Especially for active folks on hikes or bikes or anything.really. Worth every penny!

Worth having in your first aid kit.
I haven't had to you.it yet, but I recently cut my finger pretty good, and when I went to prompt care they used this type of bandage to stop the bleeding and it works great. So I bought this just to keep on hand in case.

Good idea
These are small packets. I have not and hope to never need them. If I do, I hope they are large enough.

Worth Every Penny When It Saves a Life
I came to know about this stuff during my time in the US Army several years ago. Never saw combat, but I knew the value of paying attention during my Combat Lifesaver Course. So I figured I'd pick some up for a hiking first aid kit earlier this year, just in case. It helped me save someone's life last month. As it turns out, I put it to use a couple weeks ago. My dad (a USMC vet) and I were breaking up a fight between two dogs, and one of those dogs went after him. He had a chunk taken out of his arm, and I could see down to his muscle and connective tissue. He lost a great deal of blood very quickly, likely because he was on blood thinners at the time. I used the QuikClot on his bite wound, applied pressure, called 911, etc. After the paramedics arrived and stabilized him, one of them told me that if I hadn't used the QuikClot (which worked great), he probably would have bled out before they could have stabilized him.So... definitely recommend having some on hand in case of severe physical trauma. It's a bit pricey, maybe, but I reckon that a life is worth far more.

I hope to never use this
Bought for a first aid kit. I haven't used it and hope I never have to but I'm told by others that it can save lives.
