Harry Potter Embroidery (Embroidery Craft)

I can’t say enough good things about this kit! The book is very detailed and easy to follow. I plan to photocopy the iron on patterns and trace to fabric with carbon paper so they can be reused. Excellent addition to my library, highly recommend!

To put it simply: I was blown away at the quality of the instructional book that comes with this kit. I already love cross stitching and wanted to learn a new kind of needlework and this did not disappoint! The book is very well thought out with tons of tips, pictures, and Harry Potter magic spread throughout. And the all 10 embroidery designs are amazing! From first time needleworkers to experienced, this kit is perfect. I can’t believe it only cost $20 - worth every single penny!

Had a difficult time getting the iron on design to show up on the fabric. Had an even harder time trying to get the needle threaded and ended up using one I already had instead of the one included in the kit. However this could all be user error. I think the kit itself is a really good idea. I did the Hogwarts castle design and it came out ok. All of the supplies listed were in the kit.

Like embroider. Granddaughter has a HP dining room. We are going to put these in old looking frames when done

I haven't completed a project, yet, but my grandson's fiancee is a Pottermaniac (in the best possible way), so I plan to gift her with the embroidery of Hogwart's. And I'll probably make something for myself, as well. I find embroidery to be a relaxing craft, with most stitches easy to learn from the included diagrams.

It includes everything you need to complete the projects. They vary in difficulty and it comes with a booklet that explains different techniques and tells you how difficult each one is. Overall, good for beginners and you can move up with practice.

The book had A LOT of information and wasn’t really a basic “how to”. It also didn’t include any colors of material that the pictures show, so we had to go get some. This will supply lots of different opportunities for the variety of pictures to be used over and over again, but would have liked more materials on the supplies. Also, really would have loved a basic directions to be included without reading a novel

Very pleased with this Harry Potter embroidery kit. Great quality indeed. I especially like that it comes with backing fabric. The fabric is good quality too. The embroidery floss provided does not have the DMC numbers, but not a problem as they will be put onto bobbins and labeled with their numbers..easily identified from the instructions in the book provided...which is detailed.10 iron-on transfers, nice little bamboo hoop and 2 needles.Cannot wait to start stitching!

The patterns in this book are gorgeous. It comes with only enough for two of the patterns though: the glasses and Hogwarts I believe. However the needle is TINY. There is no needle threader (standard for "all in one" kits). The thread comes in one giant length with no instructions to cut it, meaning that if you go by the instructions, you are certain to end up with a giant knot. I'm keeping the book for the patterns and that is IT.
