Time saver
Quickly charges and lost long enough. Have not tested it severely yet, (and don't want to) but it's adequate and gets the job done. Cuts though wood, light metal easily. Good power.

Great tool for a really good price
Not too heavy to use in tight places and made short work of some really dense English ivy roots. I love it.

Quality Tool At An Affordable Price
I bought this because I've had some good luck with Skil tools anything i've ever bought just worked the way it was described imagine that. I tried other reciprocating saws and the vibration on them made your arms tingle after a few minutes of use. Not really sustainable if you plan to use the tool long but i noticed this had a counterbalance to minimize vibration. Got my tool took it out and immediately tried it out and know this is exactly what i'm looking for. A little smaller and could use just a little more power but I will take a little less power if it means the vibration is 75% less.I would recommend this, i'm not biased my favorite tool brand is Milwaukee and if i was i'd own a Sawzall over this.

Skil is still the BEST
I have owned Skil tools for decades. This Skil did not disappoint. Very powerful. I ordered more blades - short and long from Amazon on the same order. Cut back ALL the bushes in our back yard with battery charge still left. Remember these are not for cutting down big trees or big limbs. I have corded reciprocating and chain saws for those chores. We LOVE this Skil !

Powerful
I never used a reciprocating saw before. It’s now my favorite tool ever. Seriously, years ago I was trying to get a rootball out of a little raised bed; no matter what I did I was going nowhere fast. Years later l decided to buy the Skil saw to help me out, and I finally got it out with this gem. Easy to place the blade and easy to cut with.Everyone has a hammer, screwdriver, as a staple for their tool shed. Now add the Skil reciprocating saw and it’s complete.Don’t know what I did for so many years without it.

Name brand tool, That doesn't break the bank
The big reason I went with this tool. I bot a Skil wood saw. Not brushless. 4 years ago and I love it. Totally surprised on it's preference. Same battery this tool uses. Use this tool at my job. Cutting thin steel. And a lot of cuts when used. For the money and dependable tool so far. I have a lot of cordless and brushless tool from SnapOn to this one. It keeps up with the best. Heck I bot with intention of throwing it away if didn't preform. I beginning to think why did go all out on high dollar ones. But I judge a little I buy on how much I use it. This one would go for right in the middle. Not high or low.

One tough saw
I've used this saw for trimming up branches from my Red Bud tree and to me it's weight and performance makes it easier to use. Battery life works just fine for the type of work I use it for plus I've use it for cutting some 2×4 lumber. The only thing I upgraded was buying some Diablo blades which I highly recommend! Plus the price was a value for the money, I've had this saw about 2 months now and it's much better and easier to use than my first saw!
