I was excited on purchasing this item as we needed strong tongs to use while cook. While cooking in medium flame the silicon started to melt the metal of the tong punctured right through. We were very surprised and returned the item right away.

I bought these tongs with much anticipation, as I somehow had cooked/served others for over 10 years without tongs. These tongs do not stand the test of time - I’ve owned these tongs for approximately one month, and during that time, the plastic on the food “gripper” has already started to flake and wear off - in fact, my wife found a piece of the plastic in her food last night. Pass on these tongs - pay a little more and get better quality tongs

Starting to fall apart already after a month.

I ordered this to easily flip meat. One of the tongs, however, cam bent and broken. I don't recommend buying a broken product.It wasn't surprising that the tongs came dirty and you should clean them anyways, but these were surprisingly dirty.

These are terrible tongs. The claws are so shallow you can't pick up anything with them. Sure, it's sturdy silicone that won't damage your pots and pans but if you can't pick up anything then you essentially don't have tongs.

Moved into a new place after having moved and sold most of my stuff. I needed tongs, I don't want metal tipped tongs that could scratch my non-stick cookware. These seemed to fit the bill, and they do. What you see is what you get. I've only had them a few days so check back in a year, but they are exactly what I wanted. I didn't even need two of them, but it comes in two so what the heck. More the better. Good price, the quality seems more than satisfactory. They work great and they don't seem like something cheap that is going to fall apart. I didn't rate the heat resistance. I use them to turn over frying bacon or grab things out of my Ninja Foodi. Works fine for that. I'm not dipping them into an oil-filled deep fryer vat so I couldn't tell you how they'd handle that. Who uses oil-filled deep fryers anymore when you can have a Ninja foodi? :)

These handy lightweight tongs are great for flipping meats, fish, chicken or even veggies in a skillet or when oven baking. I use them to serve foods as well. They appear pretty heat-resistant and don’t scratch up non-stick pans. It has a little pull at the base of the handle that locks the tongs closed, which helps when you are storing them. Only problem I had was one of the tongs did not line-up exactly and has to be twisted a bit to be used properly. Wasn’t too much of a problem so I did not return. Time will tell whether they are long-lasting.

It is what it is. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to push the top of the things to unlock and then pull the hinge again to lock. When I’m cooking on the stove, it’s hard to lock and unlock with one hand so I have to let go of the pot/pan to lock/unlock.

Arrived quickly. Was good at first but after 1 month a chunk of the silicone chipped off. Don't know if the chunk ended up in food or where it went. Expected it to hold up better.

These are fantastic quality! I actually had to look twice at the brand name because they are so well made I thought they might be kitchen aid! They are strong and durable! Highly recommended

Very sturdy, nice grip both for your hand and on your food! The lock feature works really well. Love the two sizes. Haven’t tested the 500° heat resistance but so far they survived my hot pan.

These are great! I saw there was a deal on them and I ordered them as a replacement for these really horrible tongs we had. My spouse still refuses to throw out the horrible ones. Those ones are about to break and they pinch you if you are not careful. It took me a second to figure out the locking feature. I honestly thought the hoop at the top was to hang them.They feel very sturdy and high quality. I feel comfortable taking things out of the oven with them.

Very pleased with these. The previous pair lost the round circle of silicone at the top to open them after extensive use for many years. I then made a handle of string wrapped round the metal which did the same thing. When eventually the silicon started wearing away from the other parts I decided to get some new ones so very happy at how long they lasted and when these are no longer usable, I will replace them.
