great fitting water proof seat cover in b8.5 audi s4. i use this cover after going to the gym as i noticed that my clothes like to soak throughthe shirt and shorts at times. the under lying layer that touches the seat has a very tactile and grippy rubberized surface. the seat surface feels like a fleece sweater type material. the top layer is extremely comfortable, so much that i would rather leave it on all the time - which i dont. so far, the seat cover keeps the seat dry and it doesnt smell up the car (yet).pros:+ keeps seat clean and dry for workouts (not sure about pool, beach, snow or ski)+ top layer material feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time. I havent noticed the material trapping in more radiant heat, which during the summer is good.+ construction feels thick and durable - though i haven't washed it yet - gross right?+ seat cover stays in place, it never moves around+ this also works with cars with "integrated headrests", some cars dont have adjustable headrests to tuck the seatcover material into.i believe the design of the cut of the seatcover may work better for these types of seats. they fit my b8.5 s4 seats perfect. sometimes i hear a little buffeting from the top of the covers when driving fast with the windows open. its not loud but noticeable.cons:- the only one that i have is that the waterproof rubber backing is so grippy that it takes some practice getting your seat placed on.removal is a breeze but installation will require a few adjustments.- a little expensive? but its also thick and feels more durable than my "seat saver" brand that costs a little bit less.my installation method:a) line up headrest firstb) pull up and tuck in where the seat bottom meets the seat back, you dont have to shove into the creasec) adjust your side bolstersd) finally adjust your thigh bolsters and lastly the waterfall edge of your seat where the insides of your knees will go.this keeps the seat cover material not too tight in some areas and not too loose in others.

Originally bought June 2020, it’s now November 2024, was doing underground utilities for work so pretty dirty, this thing kept the leather clean and was pretty cool during hot summer days as well as warm during cold winter days. If there’s any knock on it, it’s the backing has now started to fall apart but basically for $10 a yr I’ve had amazing protection for my car’s leather seats and here I am buying it again

These are so great! I love that you can drape them over the headrest when you get out of the car. My dog jumps into the front seat whenever I get out of the car. I really like these cause you can drape them and they hold, without any crazy straps. Then when I get back into the car, I simply take them off the headrest. So easy!The backing is kind of a plastic rubbery so it doesn't slip off the seats.

The Elitesport seat cover does a good job of keeping dirt and sweat off my car seat. The cover is easy to install and remove, and I like that I toss it in the wash.I also like that the Elitesport has the special backing to keep it in place. It does not bunch up, and it's comfortable to sit on.

I've been a user of SeatArmor covers for many years. They protect the seats but they bunch up, slide around, and have to be put back in place every time you exit the vehicle - and every time you sit down. I've lived with that because that's what I knew. I bought a VW GTI and started looking at SeatArmor. They offer logos for all the vehicle makes except VW. So I was shopping around on Amazon and I found these SeatShield EliteSport Seat Protectors. I played it safe and bought one. Liked it so much I bought another for the passenger seat. I like how it fits over the headrest and has plenty of material to cover the GTI's bolsters. I really like the backing as it keeps the seat cover in place. If you've got the coin, you can buy the custom covers (and I have in the past) but I like the easy on, easy off, throw 'em in the wash and drape 'em back on style of seat cover - especially when they are well made and thought out like these SeatShields.

For starters, I have leather seats. I originally bought the Ultrasport thinking I didn't need the non-slip underlayer on the Elitesport+. WRONG. The Ultrasport slides around on leather like a plastic puck on an air hockey table...super annoying. Repackage and return. Purchased Elitesport+. More annoying if you can believe that, but I didn't even get them ON THE SEATS. Our delivery sat out in the sun on our porch all afternoon and it was 93 today. Result....imagine sticking duct tape to itself and trying to pry it apart. That's what it was like trying to unfold the seat covers out of the package....the non-slip layer is tacky and sticks to itself. I had to take the hair dryer to the first one to heat it up so the non-slip layer would let go of itself. But then folding it up is like trying to fold saran wrap and trying to keep it from clinging to itself. These would probably be great to put on a seat and leave on for a while, but I was going to use them after runs. I'll constantly be putting them on, taking them off, washing and folding. I don't need that kind of aggravation in my life. Going back.

Since I purchased the seat covers on line, I could not check the fabric of the covers. Based on the fabric and material, I felt they were somewhat overpriced. Although I ordered the seat covers at the same time, I received them on separate days rather than being shipped together.

I run 3 to 4 times per week at a local park and when I’m done, I’m pretty sweaty, especially during warm weather months. Since I do NOT want this messing up the seat in my car, I first lay down a huge 40”x80” absorbent bath towel (separate review) and cover that with this waterproof, sweat proof, and odor proof Seatshield. The hood at the top goes over the head rest and prevents it from slipping. Problem solved; nothing gets through to the leather seats in my car with this combo. It is soft and comfortable for the ride home and I can throw it in the washing machine, ready for my next run. Try it and enjoy the peace of mind.
