These work good but I've only had luck with woven fabrics and not with knits

I really liked the idea of the device, but I felt it was slightly difficult to use.

Works as expected except hem width.
The smallest makes a fine scarf hem. Very narrow. The middle or largest are only shirttail hems, not a wide hem like for jeans or pants.
