Saxon Blades - Cross cut 80t
There were some bad reviews for this blade but fear not, they may have been written by users unfamiliar with the correct technique for using a cross cut saw!This blade cuts very well, clean consistent cuts in treated timber and C rated timber. Minimal tear out on wet grade timber with a tendency to ‘grab’ the blade even after hours of use. Sturdy construction with tips being very well brazed, this blade came with 3 spindle inserts so you should be covered for various sizes spindles. Cuts remained accurate even after prolonged use and residue build up after this time was minimal. Very pleased with this blade and will most likely be sourcing additional blades from Saxon as their service and blade are first rate.

Recommended and would buy again
I’m a kitchen fitter and spend a fortune on blades so decided to give this blade a go! I was pleasantly surprised that it’s cuts really well for the price and at just over £20.00 if I threw it away after a couple jobs I would still have my money’s worth. Only reason for 4 stars is it whistles a bit but with ear plugs u won’t hear it. I only use it for light work, cornice pelmet etc so can’t comment on heavy timber work but All in all I would recommend and would buy again👍

Excellent blade
As a diyer I think these Saxton blades a great. They have turned my saw table into a fine cut machine.

Good quality at low price!
Awesome value for money, I have only purchased one as a tester so have not had it sharpened but it runs true and I have purchased much bigger ones of the same brand for some of my other machines in my workshop. You cannot compare it to the whistling 80 quid+ blades but unless you are a professional wood shop working in Burma Teak Veneers (which I do!), what's the point! I use it to cross halve and notch constructional timber (joists, beams, rafters etc) in a specially built DeWalt radial arm saw.

Wouldn’t buy again
Cheap for a reason. Cut quality is acceptable but the blade seems really unbalanced. Used this in a dewalt 780 and it makes the saw shake and vibrate.
