Automatic Cat Feeder,48-Hour Cat Food Bowl with Ice Pack, Programmable Timer, Dry or Semi-moist Pet Food Dispenser for Puppies and Kittens

I used this automatic cat feeder because I work 12 hour shifts, the first time it worked great the other 3x I came home to a pissed off cat😾 it failed to open with the timer. I tried it a few times more while I was at home to test run it and again it failed to open. It wasn’t very expensive and it looks nice and sturdy perhaps I got a lemon.

Because of the type of timer, it clicks while it’s running and there’s no way to turn it off without taking the batteries out. We only use this at night to keep the cat fed while we sleep. During the day it’s obnoxious because the timer ticks. Also, the locking function is of little use. I don’t understand it.When setting it, you have to turn it all the way around to close the lid. Then you have to turn the dial all the way around again to get to a basic time.It works. It’s just inconvenient to use and not well designed.

I bought 2 because i have 2 cats that expect food at 3 am every day - i set the timers to open at the same time - but one pops open way too early and the other one opens way too late.I guess it's good for 1 cat households. Might give them away to a shelter.. also there is incessant ticking that takes place even if the timer is off. I have to take out the batteries for them to be quiet.

First, the ice pack lasts 4 hours max. After that everything is warm. I set a time for 12 hours - to open at 8am. It never opened. The timer clicked down to zero but never popped open. Waste of money. Do NOT buy and just spend a bit more on a better quality multi day feeder. I wasted my money with this.
