This book has so much great advice and godly wisdom. I read this aloud with my teen girls, and it helped give them a vision for what godly courtship could be. Very thankful for the discussions that were sparked because of this book. I think it should be something every young girl reads with their mom.The list of questions in the back alone are worth the cost of the book. Very thoughtful and insightful.

Love Defined is an amazing book filled with truth and honesty about relationships and singleness. It challenged me and made me think deeper about my motives and how I’m spending my single years. Once you pick it up, you won’t want to stop reading. I am so thankful for Bethany and Kristen’s encouragement and advice in Love Defined. I can’t encourage you enough to read it!Bethany and Kristen support their views with scripture and encourage young ladies to look to God’s design for love and romance. After all, He is the author of it. Whether you’re single or in a relationship, this book is for you! You will be challenged to reflect on your relationships. One whole part of the book is dedicated to single ladies. As a single girl, that part really challenged me to comsider what God has to say about love and romance. This is such a great resource for young women who are in high school and older who want godly advice on dating, relationships, and marriage.*Go through this book with them! Have those vulnerable conversations together! I’ve been married for 15 years and I’m going through this with a high school girl in our youth group and this has been a great discipleship resource.

In our generation today, love has been made so complicated — girls are filled with so much confusion & uncertaincy when trying to figure out what is right & wrong. In “Love Devined”, Kristen & Bethany share their hearts & give practical advise for girls who are trying to navigate through the complications of love, romance, & relationships. They walk us through their own personal struggles of past relationships, & point us directly to the truth from Scripture. Their words on singleness, dating, & marraige were truly inspiring! Whether you are single, engaged, married, or divorced, I know this book will be an encouragement to you. Highly recommend for high school aged girls & up!

LOVE DEFINED is a MUST read for any young woman who wants to glorify God in their current / future relationship(s). The wisdom that Bethany and Kristen provide is backed by God's word and holy scripture, but also enhanced by their personal testimonies and experiences. The fairytale facade is real, and I personally was susceptible to it and the Merry-Go-Round Method. However, through reading this book and seeing how destructive those views are on relationships, we can choose to turn away from those culture-driven ideas and run towards God-Defined, agape love that will draw us closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is an insightful, honest, and encouraging guide to a Godly relationship. I love how they share their personal experiences and past struggles. The chapters on the godly way to go about dating, and how to ditch the worldly method sometimes we unknowingly follow, are particularly useful. Love Defined has answered a lot of my questions, such as how to handle crushes, how to guard my heart, what characters to look for in a godly man, and many more. Although I won't say I totally agree with all the points they said, it's overall a really nice read that I would recommend to single girls who want to date in the future or girls who have already entered a romantic relationship.

I bought these book specifically for a small group study with Christian young women from my church! We appreciated the thoughtfulness and intent of the heart of the writers Bethany and Kristen. In this very countercultural relatable book they capture being intentional about relationships and glorifying God in everything. I highly enjoyed it and recommend Love Defined.

This is a book that encourages you to walk the talk and to live your faith no matter what culture says about relationships, sex, morality, and purity. Yes, this is a book for all women out there single, married, engaged... A book that reminds us of our greater purpose and calling as Christians that is to live out undeserved kindness, yes grace, with passion and joy pointing others around us ever closer to God and the one who he sent, Jesus Christ.Powerful book. Beautifully written. I highly recommend it!

Este livro nos oferece histórias reais de mulheres casadas e solteiras sobre como lidar cada fase da nossa vida de acordo com os preceitos bíblicos e nos encoraja a abraçar os projetos de Deus para cada uma dessas fases. É um livro muito fofo e parecia que eu estava tomando uma xícara de café com a Kristen e a Bethany, falando sobre uma visão bíblica sobre o amor e relacionamentos duradouros. Já acompanho o ministério das duas há um tempo e o livro não me decepcionou nem um pouco, amei o fato de que a perspectiva delas é baseada na Bíblia e é sensata. Também me identifiquei muito com várias situações que ela descreveram, momentos que elas viveram pelos quais eu também passou e isso tudo tornou a leitura mais prazerosa e os conselhos ainda mais válidos porque elas têm a experiência, elas sabem o que se passa na mente de uma garota e como lidar com cada situação com amparo nos ensinamentos bíblicos. Queria ter lido este livro quando era adolescente, assim poderia ter evitado muita dor de cabeça e coração partido, mas, de qualquer maneira, foi uma excelente leitura, que me ensinou bastante sobre como construir relacionamentos sólidos e duradouros, centrados em Cristo, além de como lidar com a solidão e com coração partido, por isso recomendo para todas as meninas e mulheres de todas as idades que desejam conselhos sobre esta área da vida e se aprofundar mais numa visão bíblica sobre relacionamentos duradouros e satisfatórios.

Very useful book. I recommend it more to people who want to get married rather than being already married, but it s also refreshing for both sides.It's sweet and simple to read. They have a good sense of humour and these two adorable sisters go straight to the point. I really like this book!

Quem dera eu tivesse lido esse livro em minha adolescência.O que mais gostei do livro é a escrita, como se fosse uma conversa entre amigas em um café no final da tarde. As experiências das irmãs me fizeram lembrar das minhas e dos erros (e acertos) que cometi em minha jornada.Eu amei as listas que elas prepararam ao longo do livro e em especial os conselhos das senhoras, fez muito sentido para mim.É claro que aplicar os ensinamentos desse livro não é fácil, mas Deus está comigo, bem como com tantas outras irmãs espalhadas pelo mundo.Recomendo a todas as garotas solteiras! E se possível que a leitura seja feita compartilhada com outra amiga, gera boas discussões.
