This is a well-made pillow. It is soft and gives a little but is also supportive and maintains its form. It doesn't collapse under your head. It has a depressed area for your head for back sleepers, and a little higher side area for side sleeping. The fabric covering the pillow is really nice. Everything about this pillow is really nice. The problem for me is that I don't find it particularly comfortable. It is not quite thick enough for me for side sleeping, but I am a little bit taller guy that also probably needs a thicker pillow for side sleeping than a smaller person would. It is probably fine for most people. The back sleeping is ok, but I am not sure I like it better than an ordinary pillow. I have to confess, though, that I have tried a lot of pillows and don't love any of them. I think that the problem is more me than it is the pillow. In the end, this is very well made, and I think it would be a great pillow for a lot of people.

I have wanted a pillow like this for awhile. None of them looked quite right. When I lie on my back in bed, I pull the pillow out from under my head - this orientation feels best. But I wanted some neck support. This pillow IS lower in the center of the pillow, but for me, it is not low enough It is almost like I need a donut hole in the middle of this pillow. Sleeping on either side, using the higher sides of this pillow feels great! I love the design, it just needs less padding in the very center, for me!You may love it. Give it a try.

So, I will start with the good things about this pillow. This pillow is soft and has a good structure without being uncomfortable. The design of the pillow is interesting, and I like how squishy it is. This pillow is excellent for daytime napping, napping on your back, and lying down meditations on your back. I am trying to say that if you sleep on your back, this pillow is excellent. However, I am a PROFESSIONAL side sleeper. I pretty much sleep on my left side and don't move for 6-9 hours. It is my superpower. Anyway, I tried side-sleeping with this pillow, and it was unsuccessful. I didn't have any support in my neck, and I wouldn't say I like to sleep with my left arm under the pillow, so I folded the pillow in half to get the support I needed. I ordered this pillow because I thought it would help with the neck pain I have been having, but I am back to the drawing board on that one. However, I will use this pillow when I meditate because I like to lie down on my back while meditating, and I love how comfortable this pillow is when I am in that position. I gave it three stars because I do not sleep on my back, and this pillow would not be a good fit for an excessive side sleeper.

This pillow really surprised me. I've tried so many different memory foam pillows to try to ease my upper back pain and this is by far the best I've used. I've recently switched from being a side sleeper to sleeping on my back precisely because of upper back pain and it's been really hard to find a pillow that works for me.This pillow has a very strange shape and the first few times you lay on it it feels hard to find the right position. After a few nights though I now find that my head goes right where I want it to without any thought. Once you're in the right spot you can tell almost immediately that your neck/back won't be tight sleeping on this.The only downside to this pillow is that the wings on the sides intended for side sleeping, aren't really comfortable for that purpose in my experience. I do on occasion still roll onto my side while sleeping and when trying to do that with this pillow I just couldn't get comfortable no matter how much I tried.That said, I like this pillow for back sleeping so much that I've now been sleeping with this pillow and my old pillow above it so that if I feel the need to roll to my side in the night, I just swap pillows... I like this pillow too much to give it up for back sleeping.

Not much else I can say about TranquilBeauty’s memory foam pillow. It has just enough travel to let me sink my head in while supporting it and lessening any discomfort as I sleep. I love that it sides are slightly raised and I don’t have to worry about straining my neck too far to the side - I sleep on my back 98% of the time and this has really helped lessen the pain I usually have in my neck and back!

I am a back sleeper, so I thought this pillow would be perfect for me to cuddle my head into, Especially considering I like to have something closing off my ears for quietness. I thought this would give me double bonus with the cradling of my head and giving some closure on my ears. It was not comfortable for me at all! As I laid in bed trying to get comfortable. I finally threw in the towel when I couldn’t get to sleep with my head cradled in this pillow, so I handed it over to my 115 pound fur boy. He sleeps directly next to me on his giant, xtra wide chaise lounge. He immediately cradled his head into the crevice and went to sleep! It is a 5 star for the hound, but not so for me!I do feel it’s a bit unfair to rate a pillow based on personal preference, so my rating is based on the quality of the pillow.The pillow does have a nice crevice which your head will be cuddled and supported. I didn’t feel that it’s useful to use with any other pillow. It needs to be used as a standalone. Memory foam is supportive and holds up, but yet is appropriately malleable with memory that holds the shape. It was a bit small, however, I prefer queen to king sizes pillows.

I'm a dedicated side-sleeper who recently decided to self-pierce her left ear helix. And that wasn't enough, so I also reopened the second piercing on my right ear. (Amazon sells AWESOME little kits for this.) Anyhoo, this pillow has been a Godsend for nestling my ears down into, no pressure, no discomfort, pleasant sleep and dreams! I left the little center button in so the pillow really has a nice hollow for nestling while cradling the sides of the face. Very comfortable cradling the neck while watching tv, it has also helped with neck pain, so a win-win all around. So far, I've just used a Queen pillowcase and while it does tend to slip around, it does work okay.I definitely recommend trying the Tranquil Beauty Memory Foam Cervical Pillows for Neck Pain.
