Air Innovations Cool Mist Digital Humidifier for Large Rooms MH-701C

I've had this unit a little more than two weeks and I LOVE it. At first I was concerned at the size of it. If you're looking for something small, this IS NOT the unit you want. It stands 33 1/4" tall with the top on and 18" without it. It's 8" across. You can adjust the mist to go in two different directions, which I like, or concentrate it all in one direction. It's cool mist, so no chance of getting a steam burn. I don't notice any water droplets on any surface. With a more than 1 1/2 gallon capacity it is great that you don't have to fill it every day. In fact, I've only filled it two times in the two weeks I've had it. Some days I run it on low all day and turn it up at night, other days I turn it off for part of the day, but always run it on high at night. There are 4 mist settings. There is an audible beep when changing the settings which can be turned off. I purchased this for my bedroom as I was having trouble sleeping because of the dry air up here in the Colorado mountains, above 7,000 ft. I would wake up at night unable to breath. Since I've used this humidifier, I have slept like a baby. I have not added any essential oils to the unit, so don't know how they would work with it. I may try it someday. I think it's a perfect height for being on the floor at the side of the bed with the mist being directed across the bed. I have it set up about three feet away from my bed. It's easy to fill, clean and set up. This is a high quality humidifier and I'm glad I purchased this and would recommend it.

Shipped fast. After reading the directions and setting up it worked well. I used on a regular basis this past winter and part of this one. After taking care to keep clean and proper storing when not in use it decided to stop misting. The pump runs but no longer makes the mist. I went thru all the possible trouble shooting guides. I had no success in fixing. It's sad that $100 + type products only last a year and a bit. Disappointed Customer.

This is the second one I've purchased! Does a great job, quiet, efficient, and cuts off when empty! Needs to be cleaned often to prevent build-up. Instructions are easy to understand. Necessary addition to a closed up home in the winter.

This a great humidifier! I love the sleek look. I love the way you can set it and I really love that you dont have to refill it all the time! Very impressed and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Only worked for 2 days but don't know if it was the machine or it had been broken in transit since the box was damaged.

I MAINLY ordered this humidifier because #1..it was from "Air Innovations" and I have used their products and been VERY Happy with them!!...reason #2..and stay with me viewers..ONLY ONE that came in "TEAL" which "matches my living room color tones"!!:):)..Thank You, Cheryl Soly

After using this less than a year. When I was refilling it the top handle cracked off and not it is non usable. Hoping AMAZon has a 1 year warranty on this item. So disappointed.

The humidifier works ok, not as well as the older non-mist types, but the water does last longer. My main dissatisfaction is that the shape of the top makes it very awkward to fill, because you have to turn it upside down to fill it, and it cannot simply rest on its head because it’s slanted. I don’t know if the slanted top is necessary for the design or is purely “aesthetic”, but it means you have to hold onto it while filling it, so it won’t tip over. Not great for us elderly folks. All the handles help somewhat, but a flat surface on the top would make it much easier to fill.

I loved the product until I realized how difficult it was to clean. I used distilled water when it is on. And clean it with vinegar/water and hydrogen peroxide once the water runs out and I still get mould. I had to buy infant bottle cleaning tools and a long flexible brush for vases that was from the dollar store luckily. I got the cream, which really helps to spot the mould.
