My experience so far
I ordered these on April 27. Received May 1. Packaging and moisture cloth was in great condition. I planted after soaking for about 3 hours on May 6 in a GreenStalk Tower. This is my first year trying strawberries at all. I watched many YouTube videos from various people/gardeners on this topic. I am pleasantly surprised. The plants already have 2-3 leaves, and 5 plants had 1 flower. They all appear to be doing well except for 2, but I believe that is my error as I may have overwatered those 2 pockets at first. We will see. I did cut the flowers off and plan to do so for each plant as my research shows you want to cut the flowers at first allowing the plants to focus on foliage and once, they are established well with multiple stems and leaves, allow them to flower and produce the fruit. I hope I am right. I am just excited to have strawberries at all the first year and know that next year they will even be more productive. Excellent price too! I also bought Albion type from the same seller and had the exact same experience. Happy growing!

Incredible size and quality. Thick roots.
Fantastic quality bare roots. 80-90% of the roots are nice and long and thick, some as long as 8 inches or more. Many of them have around 10 or so individual roots give or take. Neatly packed and bound together with a rubbed band. Its hard to imagine there being much better quality bare roots out there. The only nitpick I can think of is that they were fairly dry when I received them and were wrapped in a paper towel with the slightest hint of moisture, but the thick parts of strawberry roots are woody so it's not a big deal. A good amount of the new growth shoots that some of them had were extremely delicate and fell off easily since they were drying out (definitely still alive though)

Everbearing strawberries for the win!
I bought these plants in the spring of 2024. I planted them directly in the ground here in southern Ohio. For first year plants, I was pleased that they did produce fruits all the way through the fall. In October, the 25 plants had sent out so many runners that I ended up transplanting 70 plants into a bigger space. I had 75% survival of those plants and this spring, I’ve happily picked 3 quarts of large, sweet berries already. I estimate that I will have about one more quart to pick and then production might slow down for the summer, but I’m hopeful that we will still get some berries here and there.

All 26 starts viable and are producing!
I bought these starts on March 10. They came well packaged in a clump with a big band around them to keep them together. I soaked the clump in water for a few hours, then separated the roots. There were 26 viable roots. I planted these in soil and within a few days there was growth. By mid-April, they were flowering. I got my first red berry on Memorial Day and my first small harvest of berries on May 31. Best value ever! Highly recommend.

All have been growing extremely well in a flood and drain hydroponic
All have been growing extremely well in a flood and drain hydroponic system. I will transfer them into an outdoor NFT (deep NFT channels with 1" of liquid) in a week for their summer location. In an indoor system, even with only 12 hours of light, the nutrition solution was likely strong enough to trigger flowering for all plants besides growing leaves.I removed all flowers as I want the plants to build more leaves first, but this was impressive.Every root-ball grew. I did cut any dead leaves before putting them in the system, and I did water the crowns for the first few days. I kept the lights 4-5 inches above them to not provide too much light, but that was likely a bit too much (flowers so fast)I WILL BUY AGAIN from that company next year. Easier than saving your own roots and storing in a fridge all winter.

Strawberries for beginners
Very excited, I planted these strawberries with my 5 and1 yr old who have been very into gardening and growing things themselves. This morning we saw flowers starting to grow. It has been a little cold, and raining a ton so I wasn't sure if they would make it and I think we've lost a few. But I'm thrilled with what we have. I do not have a green thumb. I highly recommend ordering these, I even shared the link with my sister in law to grow with my nieces and nephews.

Dormant
I'm giving it a four star because those mostly come very dormant and it takes them a week or two to start blossoming and turn green so ask me in a month how I like them I was told there's some of the best sweetest strawberries that are made and they produce all summer so we'll see

As advertised, very healthy, shipped well.
These are VERY healthy bare roots with a great root system and leaves starting to come out, I think they all will make it. These are 100 times better than ones I bought at Walmart. These were a day late due to FedEx putting them on the wrong vehicle, but packed well enough to still be in great shape. All 25 plants were there also.
