I love this Ceravae shampoo. I’ve tried so many high end shampoos for my sensitive scalp for big bucks. I was using Eucerin shampoo but price was ridiculous. This shampoo makes my dry coarse long hair healthy and so gentle on my scalp. I have color treated hair and this shampoo keeps your color safe. I alternate between this and Aveeno shampoo so hair doesn’t get acclimated to either. It doesn’t have a scent. Suds up nicely and best of all it doesn’t irritate my scalp and is affordable. I follow up with their Ceravae hair conditioner that makes my hair soft and smooth. I have spent so much money on shampoos and conditioners that don’t work but Ceravae is a winner. Try their conditioner too. You won’t be sorry. I’m happy Amazon is now carrying this. Love it and definitely recommend it!

I've developed multi-substance allergic sensitivities and have had a hell of a time winnowing out the products causing the problem(s). Hair products almost *always* have a scent--none of which I would choose as my perfume. I tried another brand a couple years ago (before the Cerave shampoo and conditioner were introduced.) It was very expensive but at least it was unscented. Then my hair started to break off and fall out. (The brand name starts with the letter O and ends with an x.)I use Cerave for almost all of my skincare, so I was thrilled to find the shampoo and conditioner. Have been using them for a week and I am very, very satisfied. I'm still looking for mousse, unscented hairspray, and leave-in treatment. Hopefully, Cerave's new haircare department will take care of that soon.

My hair stylist was commenting on my hair how it felt and reacting to cuts and using the curling iron. I’m 73 my hair is getting more gray. I’m sure it was feeling stiff. I was unable to style it once I got home! I saw the advertisements and love the lotion and cream on my skin. So I thought I’d give it a try. I had been looking in the stores and no one was caring it though. I checked Amazon and was pleasantly surprised! They had both shampoo and conditioner. After the first use my hair felt incredible and no more itchy scalp. I can hardly wait till my next appt with my Stylist! It’s states it’s safe for color treated hair. Though I don’t dye my hair. I use that type of shampoo you have no yellowing of your gray hair with it. It’s a keeper for sure!

This shampoo is unscented, but I prefer ones with a fragrance. It also doesn’t lather much, and I like shampoos with more foam because they feel more effective at cleaning.

I wasn't sure I liked this shampoo the first few times I used it. But, now, a month in, my hair feels and looks fantastic. I have also been using the conditioner. This line is simple, effective and makes my hair sing with bounce, shine and general health. I think it took a few weeks for my hair and scalp to adjust, but now that they both have I can give five huge stars. I have added my own eucalyptus scent just for the shower. Thank you, CeraVe. This has been worth the wait.

As someone with very sensitive skin and an aversion to fragrance I have tried almost every fragrance free and sensitive shampoo on the market. While some have not been irritating, they also did not do anything positive for my hair. I tried the Cerave shampoo and conditioner on a whim and I LOVE them! They are so much better than any other natural or commercial product I have found. My hair is soft and manageable, even my hairdresser commented that this is the healthiest she has seen my hair. Definitely give this a try, you won't be disappointed.

Love this shampoo and conditioner! No stinky perfume smell! Just clean soft hair . And the shampoo is in a bottle and the conditioner is in a tube! I wear glasses so I often can't read which is which in the shower and I had to use a marker to do a "S" and "C" in large letters to differentiate between the two. Not these!

I never write reviews but felt the need to spread the good word about this shampoo for anyone struggling with greying, dry hair, irritated scalp, and soft water.Didn't believe the hype until I tried this, but this shampoo and conditioner makes my greying, dry hair feel like silk. I am 35, some grey, with hair past my shoulders. I recently moved to a place with softer water and found that all of my protein-heavy shampoos and conditioners were making my hair feel very crunchy and dry. Worse, with the colder weather of my new climate, my scalp was irritated and dry.I cycled through several shampoos and conditioners before trying this one out and I am so glad I did. I was full of reservations the first cleanse, since my hair didn't feel like silk in the shower. However, after styling and blow drying, I was shocked. My hair just FELT so unbelievably soft and my scalp was calm for the first time in months. With drier, greying hair, this is especially rare. Anyone with changing texture can tell you that finding a shampoo and conditioner is REALLY challenging.Only con is that if you have normal to oily scalp, you will need to wash your hair daily with this shampoo (or use a dry shampoo to soak up excess oil). However, for me, this is worth the trade off. The feel and texture of my hair is unreal and my scalp feels great, so I'll happily cleanse daily to maintain it.
